Randy grew up in Pearl, MS where he was an avid football player and weight lifter at Pearl High School. During his senior year, he was involved in a car accident that broke more than 90 bones and has required 23 surgeries. This accident nearly took his life.  Two years after his accident, Randy gave his life to Christ and has since served Him in the ministry as a youth pastor, children’s pastor and evangelist.  In October 2005, Randy came on staff part-time with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.  He became a full-time staff member in March of 2006 and is currently serving as the Area Representative for District 5 - an 11-county area, which covers Meridian to Hattiesburg.  Randy is passionate about reaching coaches and athletes for Christ and fulfilling the mission of FCA which is: “To present to athletes and coaches, and all whom they influence, the challenge and adventure of receiving Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, serving Him in their relationships and in the fellowship of the church.”
